There is beauty all around us; in the fields we see, the oceans we swim in, & the snow that falls on our heads. There's so much power and peace in nature it's awe inspiring. Like the miracles of nature that surround us each day, every single one of us was fearfully & wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). It's time to embrace the natural beauty surrounding us & the light that shines within!
SEWING PARTY: My love for sewing & fashion began when I was little. I remember having sewing parties with my nanny (grandma) in the basement of her old house & just being fascinated that she could make something cool from a simple piece of cloth. One day she taught me how to do a straight stitch & immediately I was ready to make a Barbie skirt lol! Life happened after the sewing party years & my love of fashion continued to grow. It wasn't until I got my very first sewing machine as a Christmas gift from my parents a few years back that I started to immerse myself in sewing again. I loved the idea of being creative & began feeling like that little girl who could make anything & everything --- only limited by her own imagination. Since then, I've quit my full-time job as a research scientist & have been teaching myself how to develop patterns & work with different materials. I strive to find great American made fabrics & using patterns I make myself, create something absolutely beautiful for you! So far it's proved to be a challenging but super fun process & I'm loving every minute of it! :)
MADE IN THE USA: Clothing & furnishings are one way that we express who we are. They make us feel refreshed, pretty & comfy among other things.
